Magnelab’s RCT-2400 is a 333 mV Output Rope CT that measures AC current up to 5,000 Amps. It has a 8-inch diameter.
The 333 mV Output Rope CT is a flexible rope-like current sensor that can be used in place of a traditional current transformer. Because it does not have a magnetic core it is lightweight and flexible, making installation significantly easier.
The RCT-2400 opens at the connector junction and can be installed on an existing cable or busbar in a matter of seconds. It comes with one Rope CT and the corresponding integrator, which amplifies the low output of the Rope CT and corrects the phase shift. This allows it to be used anywhere a low voltage current sensor would be used.
