Product Description

Magnelab’s SCT-0400 is a compact split core current sensor that transforms an AC input current from 1 to 75 Amps to a 0.333 Volt output.

The SCT-0400 is a split core current sensor with an opening of 0.40″ in diameter. It is ideal for installation on existing electrical wiring. It easily snaps around the conductor.

Because of its small size, the SCT-0400 is inexpensive yet it is able to monitor very low currents.  When picking an input amperage rating, consider that the unit will be able to operate at its specified accuracy from 10% to 130% of the rated current.  For example, a 75A unit can operate with 1% accuracy from 7.5A to 97.5A.

Split Core Current Sensor Frequent Applications

  • Data logging
  • Recording
  • Power monitoring
  • Energy management
  • Cost allocation

The SCT-0400 is a popular choice in multi-channel monitoring because of its low cost, small size, and ability to measure very low currents.

Compatible power meters accept a voltage input.  Look for meters on our website that start with this symbol:
