Customizations for Current Sensors
Quality Customization Options
Aim Dynamics allows for the customization of many of our current sensors. To customize the product you need, follow the directions below:
- When adding a product to your cart, use the drop-down boxes (labeled “Add-On”) to select your desired customization
- You can choose multiple customizations for current sensors by choosing options from the second and third drop down boxes as well. Note that the per/unit price appears next to the customization option.
- Add the item to your cart and proceed to checkout
In addition to the customizations we display in the customization drop down menu, you can call us to order more or different customizations for your current sensors (e.g. extended lead lengths plus a custom voltage output). Common Customizations for Current Sensors
This section describes the common customizations we provide for current sensors, including the expected lead-time addition and any associated cost.
- 12′ Twisted Pair Lead Length – This exchanges the existing 8′ twisted pair leads for 12′ twisted pair leads. The leads are black and white wires twisted together with approximately one twist per inch.
- Lead Time: Typically 1 week.
- Cost: $5/unit*
- 20′ Twisted Pair Lead Length – This exchanges the existing 8′ twisted pair leads for 20′ twisted pair leads. The leads are black and white wires twisted together with approximately one twist per inch.
- Lead Time: Typically 1 week.

- 12′ Gray Lead Length – This exchanges the existing 8′ gray leads between the rope and the integrator for a 12′ gray lead. The gray leads have a gray colored grounded jacket that prevents noise.
- Lead Time: Typically 1 week.
- RCT Cost: $10/unit*
- RCS Cost: $25/unit*
- 20′ Gray Lead Length – This exchanges the existing 8′ gray leads between the rope and the integrator for a 20′ gray lead. The gray leads have a gray colored grounded jacket that prevents noise.
- Lead Time: Typically 1 week.
- RCT Cost: $10/unit*
- RCS Cost: $25/unit*
- 0-1V Output Option – This changes the output from 0-333mV to 0-1V.
- Lead Time: Typically 1 week.
- Cost: $7/unit*
- 0-2V Output Option – This changes the output from 0-333mV to 0-2V.
- Lead Time: Typically 1 week.
- Cost: $7/unit*
- 0-5V Output Option – This changes the output from 0-333mV to 0-5V.
- Lead Time: Typically 1 week.
- Cost: $7/unit*
- eGauge 2-pin Tyco connector – This accessory will add the eGauge 2-pin Tyco connector to the end of the terminals. You will need this if you are connecting the current sensors purchased to an eGauge power meter (you probably won’t need it otherwise).
- Lead Time: Half a day
