Description
The HOYS-S by LEM is an open loop Hall effect device designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC and pulsed currents with galvanic separation between the primary and secondary circuits
- The HOYS-S has primary ratings of 100 – 560A and can measure up to 1400A DC or AC
- A single +5Vdc power supply is required to provide power
- The HOYS-S Hall effect current transducer is 1 – 1.25% accurate (depends on the nominal rating)
- It outputs 2.5V at 0A
- It outputs 3.3 V at the rated current (positive) and 1.7V at the rated current (negative)
- The HOYS-S can measure DC current and pulsed currents, as well AC frequencies up to 180 kHz (-3 dB)
- It has a fast response (~3 µS) and low offset drift
- These devices have been evaluated for over voltage category III and pollution degree 2 environments
- Note that the HOYS-S (when ordered from Aim Dynamics) ships with the mating connector!
- There is no need to try and specially order the connector, only to get the wrong one, delay your project, etc.
