Description

The J&D JSS series of split-core current transformers offer an output at secondary from the sensed primary current for metering applications

  • They can be used for power meter, distribution system, control panels, switchgear and other equipment
  • They are designed to be installed on live power lines without disconnection as they are split-core and compact
  • They have an over-voltage protection circuit to offer safe, fast and cost effective installation
  • Without using a secondary CT inside of meter, users can directly connect these to a meter for high accuracy metering applications
  • This enables one meter to be adopted for various current ratings by only changing primary CT so it makes a compact design meter and reduces development costs
