Description
Magnelab’s SCT-3000 series of Split Core current sensors transform an AC input current up to 3000 Amps (model dependent) to a 0.333 Volt output
- 333 mV output current transformer with a 3″ x 5″ opening and a variety of amperage rating options
- Ideal for installation on existing electrical wiring by snapping around the conductor
- Self-locking mechanism and no hinges, making them durable and reliable
- The SCT-3000, like other 333 mV output current transformers, is used to determine the current (measured in Amps) passing through a conductor (wire, bus bar,etc)
- Current is needed, along with the voltage, to determine the amount of power being used (measured in kW)
- As with most of Magnelab’s standard accuracy current sensors, the SCT-3000 is 1% accurate when operating from 10% to 130% of the rated input current
