Description
Magnelab’s UCT-1000-000 compact current sensor has a 1.0 in. opening, high accuracy and input up to 200 Amp
- The UCT series of solid core current transformers exceeds IEC 61869-2 Accuracy Class 0.5% and has a phase angle measurement less than 0.26°
- The output is controlled by a precision resistor fixed at the industry standard of 0.333 Vac
- The rugged epoxy encapsulated construction comes with 8′ twisted leads
- When using revenue grade current sensors like the UCT series, be sure when buying a meter to find an ANSI C12.20 Class 0.5S or better meter as the system is only as good as the weakest component!
- The UCT series, like other current transformers, is used to determine the current (measured in Amps) passing through a conductor (wire, busbar, etc)
- This is needed, along with the voltage, to determine the amount of power being used (measured in kW)
- This compact current sensor is frequently used with
- New installations
- Cost allocation
- Precision power monitoring
- Laboratories
- Applications
- Submetering
- Revenue-grade Metering
- Smart Home Energy Management System
- Power Generation Monitoring
- Industrial Pump Monitoring
- Solar Consumption Monitoring
- EV Charging Stations
- Substation LV/MV/HV
- Lifecycle Management of Equipment
